Can I collect song requests before the event?

Yes — and collecting requests in advance is one of the most useful things you can do with BeatTribe. Share your event link or QR code days or even weeks ahead: by email, in a WhatsApp group, or printed on the invitation. Guests open it in their browser and submit from home, with nothing to install and no account needed on their end.

Early requests land in the Song Requests sub-tab of your Requests tab, exactly like requests made on the night. Nothing is added to a playlist until you click Sync, so you can review the list at your leisure and arrive at the venue with a queue already built — and on Pro, remove anything that doesn't fit before you do.

Your event settings apply to early requests too — explicit filtering, blocked genres, and the per-guest request limit all work the same before the event as during it. On the free Starter plan, requests collected in advance count toward that event's 50-request total.
