Can I listen to a song before I approve it?

Yes — every request in your list has a small play button beside it that plays a 30-second clip of the track. It's a Pro feature.

Click it and the clip starts, click again to stop. Nothing needs connecting first: previews work whether or not you've linked a streaming service, and whichever one you use.

It's most useful for the requests you don't recognise. Guests will ask for tracks you've never heard of, and thirty seconds is usually enough to judge whether something will work at that point in the night or clear your floor.

It's also a quick way to check that a request matched the right song. If the clip turns out to be a cover version or the wrong artist, you can correct the artist and title in the list and preview again.
