Can I filter out explicit content?
Controlling what can be requested
Yes — use the Exclude Explicit Songs toggle in the Settings sub-tab of your Requests tab. It's available on every plan, including the free Starter plan.
The filter works at the point of search rather than after the fact. With it switched on, any track the music catalogue flags as explicit is removed from your guests' search results, so they can't request it in the first place and there's nothing for you to catch and reject later. Guests aren't left guessing either — they see a short notice telling them some results were hidden because the host doesn't allow explicit songs, shown in whichever of the 15 supported languages their request page uses.
One thing worth knowing: the filter hides explicit recordings, it doesn't swap in clean ones. If a radio edit of a song exists in the catalogue your guests can still find and request that; if no clean version exists, the song simply won't appear at all. For school dances, weddings and corporate events, leaving this on is the safest default.
